Railway Recruitment Board released recruitment notification vide CEN 01/2024 for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and the application process for the same was started from 20 January 2024 and ended on 19 February 2024
Candidates were given the opportunity to make corrections in certain fields of their application forms from July 29 to August 7, 2024.
RRB ALP recruitment 2024 Age Criteria and Pay
As per the recruitment notification, The age for Assistant Loco Pilot ALP recruitment is 18-30 years (age limit as on 1st july 2024) and the initial pay is 19900 under Level 02 of the 7th CPC. For complete details regarding age, please refer to the notification

RRB ALP recruitment 2024, Fee Details
The examination fee for all candidates is ₹500, out of which ₹400 will be refunded only to those candidates who attend the CBT 1 exam. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, Female, Ex-servicemen, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Classes are required to pay a fee of ₹250, which will also be refunded only to those who attend the CBT 1 exam. ALP Recruitment 2024 Exam process
The recruitment process shall comprise CBT-1 (First stage CBT), CBT-2 (Second stage CBT), CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test), DV (Document Verification) and ME (Medical Examination).

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024, Vacancy Details
Earlier, As mentioned in CEN 01/2024, the vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot is 5696 but later the vacancies are increased from 5696 to 18799.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2024, Exam and Answer key Date
The ALP CBT-1 Exam was held on 25 to 29 November, 2024 and the provisional Answer key for the same was released on 5 December 2024
RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 Result Update
RRB has not released the result of Assistant Loco Pilot yet and not mentioned any particular date for its release. Candidates can easily access to the result on official RRB websites once it is released.
